Ingredients: Patty dough:
- 2 lb potato, cooked, mashed
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cup flour, plus on a board
Meat filling:
- 1 lb ground meat, pork or chicken (or your favorite)
- 1 clove of garlic, pressed/crushed
- 1/2 onion, medium, pureed
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp ground pepper
- 1 tsp salt
Directions:
- In a small bowl, mix ground meat, garlic, onion, egg, pepper, and salt well.
- In a bigger bowl, mix mashed potato, egg, salt, and flour.
- Transfer potato dough onto a floured board then knead adding more flour if necessary.
- Roll the dough by both hands, then cut into pieces (about 2 inches in diameter).
- Fill each piece with ground meat, closing it up inside, then form the round or oval patties.
- Cook patties in a skillet with oil, until meat inside is cooked thoroughly.
- Remove from a skillet, drizzle with crushed garlic if desired.
- Serve hot.
